The installer is account-gated. Sign in with an active trial or subscription to check access; the signed public build remains locked until release proof is complete.
Requires sign-in and a live Sightlock account licence.

First run checklist
- Install Sightlock on the workstation that will use this key.
- Open Sightlock and paste the account licence key when prompted.
- Bind this machine under the account's active-device allowance.
- Add a repository folder that contains drone media and telemetry.
- Open the Repository Manager or Flight Viewer and start indexing.
Minimum workstation
For small projects and first trials
- Windows 10 or Windows 11, 64-bit.
- 8 GB RAM minimum, with 16 GB strongly preferred for video-heavy work.
- Modern Intel or AMD processor; 4 cores is a practical minimum.
- SSD storage recommended, plus enough free local or network storage for the drone media folders you index.
- Integrated graphics can work for lighter repositories, but large 4K comparisons should use stronger hardware.
- Internet access is required for licence/account checks, map tiles, email links, and subscription management.
Recommended workstation
For large archives and comparison work
- Windows 11, 64-bit.
- 16-32 GB RAM for multi-video inspection and large indexed repositories.
- Modern 6+ core CPU and fast NVMe/SSD storage.
- Dedicated GPU or strong integrated GPU for smoother 4K playback, map rendering, and comparison review.
- 1080p display minimum; larger screens make Compare Studio, map review, and export setup much easier.
- Performance proof on lower-end hardware is still part of final release QA before broad public launch.
Planned constrained-hardware mode
Performance mode for weaker computers
Sightlock indexes the geometry and metadata for a repository so the map can stay useful without hard-loading every large video at once. A planned performance mode should make that behaviour more aggressive for older laptops or memory-limited workstations.
- Keep only a small active set of hard-loaded videos ready, with a target of three active videos by default.
- When memory pressure rises above a safe threshold, unload the least-recently-used media back to geometry-only state.
- Keep thumbnails, tracks, and project geometry available so the user can still navigate the archive quickly.
- Reduce background preloading, thumbnail generation, and non-essential map/preview work while performance mode is active.
- Expose the mode clearly in the app so users understand why old videos unload and how to turn it off on stronger machines.
